Alfie woke up early, his body clock was still on work hours even though he'd closed his small cafe for the Christmas week. He groaned and pulled himself up, because once his eyes were open he wouldn't sleep again. He stretched and pulled on some 'decent' clothes after remembering that Bubba's dad was downstairs. Carefully, he crawled down the stairs and saw that they had both fallen asleep themselves- Bubba's neck was in an incredibly awkward position, he could only imagine the discomfort he'd feel when he woke up from it. Not that he particularly pitied him- he could have just not attempted to go on a suicide mission, like a normal person.
